I love breakfast. I love mornings when I have a little time to put together a full breakfast.
First I boil the water for my coffee and my eggs. I haul my bread out of the freezer and let it thaw. When the water boils, I make my coffee and put the eggs in the pot.
Pourover coffee means that I take my time pouring a little water over the grounds and letting it filter through.
While the eggs are cooking (6.5 minutes), I rummage through the cupboards and fridge for little tidbits that I might like. Today it was strawberries, baby bell cheese, almonds, dried apricots, and dates.
Plus, I felt the need for a green smoothie.
My stomach feels full and happy this morning.
